My Brothers,
As June is upon us we celebrate three holidays in which we display our national flag, Memorial Day, Flag Day, and Independence
Day. We fly our flag to salute and pay respects to those who have fought for our freedom and those who continue to do so today.
To those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to allow us to live as we do today in freedom and dignity. To represent our
respect for our country in which we live and support the ideals we have held since its inception. Our flag represents "us"
as indivduals of a proud and strong nation. We as Freemasons, hold similar ideals for the symbols of our fraternity. The pride,
the honor and dignity it is to be a Mason. To making men better, loving one another as brothers and so giving in so many chairtable
endovers should make us proud to be who we are.
So as you celebrate the holidays with picnics, swimming, fireworks and family reunions, be proud of who we are as Americans
and be equally proud as to who we are as Masons.
Remember, Freemasons were instrumental in the formation, development and protection of our great nation. We are what made
this country great, and continue to do so today.
Have a safe, happy and relaxing summer.
Fraternally,
Dan
